Alternatives To Violence (ATV) is dedicated to the prevention, intervention, and treatment of all forms of violence and advocates for freedom from violence for all individuals.
COMMUNITY AGAINST VIOLENCE
CAV’s mission is to foster and support a community free from all forms of domestic and sexual violence.
CAV offers a 24-hour HELPline (575.758.9888) and TEXTline (575-770-2706) for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. We provide legal and medical advocacy services, counseling and support groups, children’s programs, community prevention, and outreach programs, and are able to provide information and resources for those in need.
NEW MEXICO CRIME VICTIMS REPARATIONS COMMISSION
The NMCVRC was formed in 1981 under the Crime Victims Reparation Act to assist victims of violent crime with expenses incurred as a result of their victimization. If you have a grievance or concern as a victim, you have a right to contact the Crime Victim Reparation Commission at https://www.cvrc.state.nm.us.

NEW MEXICO COALITION OF SEXUAL ASSUALT PROGRAMS
NMCSAP leads the state’s efforts to reduce sexual abuse and sexual violence by providing training and technical assistance to service providers, law enforcement officers, prosecutors, medical practitioners, and mental health professionals.
NMCSAP also collects and analyzes sexual assault and domestic violence data and produces annual reports of the findings.
UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO GRIEF SERVICES PROGRAM
The Grief Services Program is an integral part of the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator. The program is staffed by Master's Level mental health professionals with extensive experience and expertise in dealing with the effects of traumatic grief.

NEW MEXICO VICTIMS’ RIGHTS PROJECT
The New Mexico Victims’ Rights Project is dedicated to providing education and enforcement of crime victim's constitutional rights. We focus on helping victims meet their legal, financial, and emotional needs through: pro bono legal counsel; assistance in information and case tracking; representation at court hearings; assistance in creating victim impact statements and filing for restitution; and facilitating contact with support groups and other victim resources. NMCD VICTIM SERVICES PROGRAM
The Victim Services Program serves as a direct point of contact for crime victims and their families who have concerns related to offenders in custody or under the probation and/or parole supervision of the New Mexico Corrections Department. It provides comprehensive information, assistance, and support to crime victims and their families and is committed to administering these services with respect, compassion, and confidentiality. Services include assistance to crime victims and their families during the parole board hearing process.
