The Eighth Judicial District Attorney's Office is committed to effective and professional prosecution within the bounds of law, ethics, and integrity.  The Eighth Judicial District Attorney's Office, strives to work closely with the courts, law enforcement, victims, witnesses and the community to ensure the safety of the citizens of Taos, Colfax & Union Counties through aggressive prosecution of criminals and adherence to the duties of the District Attorney as set forth in Section 36-1-18 NMSA.
